What is the make of your car?
It’s a Peugeot 406 executive 1999 model.

Where did you buy it from?
I bought it from the UK through a brother.

How long have you had it?
I have had this car for six years.

What do you like about it?
Its comfort, very fast, stable on the road and the interior is super.
How do you maintain your car?
For major servicing, my mechanic comes from Kampala but if it’s minor like change of oil, I do it myself.

Where do you get the spare parts from?
They are available in Kampala but if they are not, I import them from UK and a few times from Nairobi.

What is the engine size?
It has 2000cc.

Is it automatic or manual?
It’s automatic.

What is the speed limit?
It covers 240 Km/h.

Do you share it with friends?
Yes! But mostly with my brother.

Have you received offers from people wanting to buy it?
Yes, many times, especially old people who love Peugeots.

Where did you get the inspiration to drive this type of car?
My dad used to drive a 406 pickup truck. So I grew up in a home of Peugeots. The brand itself is great.
These are durable cars. Therefore, the inspiration comes straight from family history.

How much do you spend on fuel in a week?
I spend around Shs40,000 to Shs50,000 if am driving within town.

What is the farthest you have driven it?
The farthest was Western Uganda. Mbale to Kabale.

What is the worst experience you have had on the road?
I was in Kampala during a downpour when water entered the engine and I lost the valves leaving me stranded. I had to get a break down truck.

What was your first car?
It was a Corona 1994 model.

What characteristics does this car have that other cars you have driven don’t have?
It has speed 240 compared to 180. It has auto-Cruz, the safety air bags are all over the interior. It rarely breaks down like I have never replaced shock-absorbers and shafts which was my night mare with past cars. It also has seat warmer systems that are not in ordinary cars.

What is your dream car?
It will still be in the line of Peugeots. The latest model of Peugeot.
