What was your first car?
My first car was a Subaru Legacy.
What car do you drive now?
I drive a Subaru Impreza model 2000.
When did you buy it?
I bought this car in November 2011
How much did you buy it?
Ha ha, do I have to say that? Well, it cost me about Shs16m I imported it.
What do you like about this car?
The car is steady. It is fast and, apart from the occasional panel beating of dents and changing tyres, I have not had much repairs to do.
How big is the engine of your car?
It is a 1,600cc
Where did you learn driving from?
Ha ha ha, it was a gamble. I started off by practicing on cars I had access to. I mostly taught myself how to drive. I watched keenly what people did and then when I had a chance, I tried it.
In which type of car did you learn...an automatic or manual car?
Both, whichever one I had a chance to drive
What is the furthest you have driven this car?
I drive it a lot but in one go, the longest has been 620 kilometers to and fro Fort Portal, and back in one day.
How much fuel did you spend on this journey?
It was about 50 litres
How much do you spend on fuel per a week?
It depends on where I go but on average Shs200,000.
How often do you service your car and how much do u spend on servicing?
I service the car about six times a year. It depends on my movements.
How much care do you give your
car?
I like my car to be in top notch driving condition and appearance so I have it cleaned and checked regularly
What is the most expensive maintenance on your car?
I think changing all four tyres at a time, then I had to change the steering racks as well
Does your car have a nickname?
I wish. No, it doesn’t
What is your dream car?
Oh my! Okay, let’s see; this has been changing over the years. I think it would a new M Class Mercedes Benz
What do you like about this car?
It’s high, it’s 4WD, it’s elegant, it’s stable and it’s fast.
How do you compare your current car with the Benz?
I absolutely love my current car. I am content but I know God can do so much more.
What is the last traffic offence you committed?
I overtook in a no overtaking zone.
Do you have perfume in your car?
Most of the time. I need to replace the last one.
Do you ever share your car?
I used not to because I valued it a lot but my priorities have changed a lot over the years. That does not mean I give it to anyone though. God never gives us what He knows we are not prepared to handle.
