New banking software that enables banks to track and close the loopholes has been launched.
The software, developed by Neptune Software Group, showing new edge banking expertise, was unveiled in Kampala on Friday to officials from banks like Centenary, Barclays, Global Trust, Finca, Fina bank, Opportunity Bank, Mercantile Bank and Uganda Development Bank among, others.
At the event, Neptune also unveiled its new innovation in the software banking technology –Rubicon and Orbit R, which are all web-based banking systems.
Mr Victor Kerunga, the country manager Neptune Software Group, said with the changes in technology, many channels of service delivery have come up.
“People want convenience when transacting with their banks through paying their utility bills, accessing their funds and monitoring their accounts. Channels like ATMs and, Mobile banking have are saving banks and clients a lot of time,” he said.
