The franchise has already been rolled out to various locations in the country and is working under two models; converting existing hardware outlets that have the entrepreneurial will to join the franchise and a second model of transforming containers into a branded and fitted Bonastore outlet.

Kampala. Cement producer, Hima Cement has launched a new franchise that is geared towards offering building solutions.
Under the Bonastore Frachise, Hima Cement opened the first service centre at Hardware World Ntinda, which will offer a range of building solutions to the public.
The Bonastore Service Centre is a one-stop shop that will offer customers advice on a wide range of matters such as; architectural support, finance and credit advice, contractor and material sourcing, bill of quantities among other activities.

Speaking during the launch at Hardware World in Ntinda last week, Hima Cement channels development manager Sophie Mirembe explained that the service centre was born out of the need to help the ordinary person to build better by providing a range of services that will streamline the building process, ensure speedier and more efficient construction.

“We recognise that building is a complex and stressful process and that is why the main objective of these service centers is to guide people in their construction projects. We will help you select the best product for the job and advice on how to use it to get maximum product effectiveness,” she said.
She added: “Our goal is to therefore deliver a range of building solutions through multiple channels to meet the various needs and lifestyles of our customers.”

The Hardware World Service Centre is the first of many service centres to be launched in strategic locations across the country. To avail a one-stop shop solution to customers, Hima Cement has secured Roofings Uganda Limited as the steel partner, Regal Paints, a member of the Crown Group for paints and Total Uganda, under its Awango Brand as the provider of solar lamps. The company is looking to widen the selection of building materials and Do It Yourself products under one roof.

The franchise has already been rolled out to various locations in the country and is working under two models; converting existing hardware outlets that have the entrepreneurial will to join the franchise and a second model of transforming containers into a branded and fitted Bonastore outlet.
