Ashraf Nsereko

Ashraf Nsereko, a Ugandan living in Dubai, together with others have started an online television that broadcasts from the Emirates.
In a Tweeter message, Nsereko said the online TV – Source TV had been created to track the welfare of Ugandans who are living and working in United Arab Emirates (UAE) and beyond. “We want to stay a family. It is hard living away from home. We want to address the plight of Ugandans in UAE,” Nsereko said in a Twitter message.

UAE has a large population of Ugandans working in the country and has become a new trading hub for Ugandan business people.
The online TV, which is the brain of Nsereko and Ronald Bwanika, has already started conducting test broadcasts announcing upcoming events in the country including performances from Ugandans.
