Kasese

Kasese District is set to get information and communication technology equipment worth Shs24 million from Rwenzori Information Centre Network.

Rwenzori Information Centre is supported by the Dutch Humanist Institute for Cooperation with Developing Countries and the European Union.

The equipment includes 12 computers and a multipurpose photocopier.

Internet services will be set up to facilitate information-sharing between the district, the civil society organisations and other stakeholders in and outside the district.

Kasese District Deputy Chief Administrative Officer Willy Bataringaya and the Rwenzori Information Centre boss John Silco Muruga signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
