Air conditioners  that are controlled by phones unveiled

The new Samsung’s DVM system air conditioner has been introduced to the Ugandan market.

With growing inventions and innovations, air conditioning owners will be able to control them in their offices or homes using smart phones or tablets.

The new Samsung’s DVM system air conditioner has been introduced to the Ugandan market. The system has facilities like self-diagnosis, auto commissioning, auto management and mobile data transmission.

In case of faults, an automatic message can be sent to the owner’s  smart phone or computer for necessary action.

According to Mr George Kebaso, Samsung’s System Air Conditioner product manager, the new technology uses minimal electricity and “it is specifically built for Africa”.
