“When venturing into agribusiness, you must be committed because it is challenging but paying venture. Some of the setbacks should not discourage you, but make you more resolute,” she says.
In addition, record keeping is a requisite to success and should be practiced at all times.
With the good earnings she is getting from her poultry farm, Tumushabe says she no longer wants a job and it has also enabled her to look after her family.
“Unless you pay me like Jeniffer Musisi of KCCA I cannot venture out for a job because currently I am my own master without external pressure,” she remarks.
