Beauty Experience: How I almost ruined my big day!

Every bride wants to look her best on their wedding day. Everything has to be perfect and splendid. Two years ago, I walked down the aisle.
A few months to the wedding, one of my bridesmaids suggested a beauty cream she believed will help remove the big dark scars I had on my right cheek. I had gotten these from a burn I had suffered when cooking, and although they did not look bad, my friend still thought it would be better if I had them removed.
At first, I did not give it much thought and had originally thought applying foundation would help cover up the scars. However, after much persuasion from friends, I decided to try out the cream.
Deep down, I hoped I would not have to regret this decision. However, to my utter shock, I developed an itching ashy irritation three days after I had applied the cream. The irritation spread across my entire face. At this point, I was freaking out and did not know what to do.
It was nearly two weeks to the wedding and I had to find a way to have this rash gone before D-day. When I talked to the beautician at my saloon, he advised me to seek medical help and thought that would help. The pharmacy I visited gave me several medicated creams which did not seem to work at all.
However, after a lot of inquiries from friends, I was advised to use concealer and that this would help cover up the irritation. And indeed, the concealer worked; as I did look really good after they had applied the concealer all over my face at the salon.
