The corset top

What you need to know:

Corsets date back to the Victorian time, where women wore them inside their gowns to create a slim fit around the waist.

I’m at that point in my life where I now feel the need to have a leaner, more toned and enviable body.

The problem is I’m very lazy. I mean, I don’t really feel like I have either the guts, or the time to hit the gym or go jogging.

Then, I came across that picture of Kim Kardashian, and her slimmed out waist in a corset top. That is when it actually hit me that the corset may be just what I needed, especially in regard to my waist and tummy area.

I mean you can step out looking stylish, but also working out that body, with this lingerie inspired piece. So the next time you are worried about how to have that hour glass waist line, then you may need to go shopping for a corset.

Corsets date back to the Victorian time, where women wore them inside their gowns to create a slim fit around the waist. Today, you can wear the corset as a top, over your jeans, shorts, or atop a dress.

Choose the right length and size
A corset is supposed to be very comfortable, even when you tighten up the hooks of strings.

If it’s not comfortable and makes you feel like you want to suffocate, then it’s the wrong size.

Also, if you have chosen to wear it over a pair of jeans then have the pants either high waisted, or have the corset overlap your pants waist line, so that you don’t suffer any wardrobe malfunctions.

When shopping for one, a lingerie shop should be your first searching point.
