In Summary
Ayubu Kiluyu lived a normal life until a loaded truck knocked him, crushing his urinary tract. He now needs a Shs10m surgery to be able to pass urine normally.
Having shown signs of improvement, Kiluyu was discharged from the clinic. This was around late September. Just after one week at home, however, the stitched scar around his left leg began excreting urine.
According to his doctor, this leakage of urine was as a result of his damaged urinary tract tube that needs to be fixed as soon as possible.
On top of the leaking urine, Kiluyu also started experiencing pain when urinating which he does almost every after 10 minutes.
“I always feel the urge to urinate every 10 minutes and when I go to urinate, the urine comes out, it is painful,” Kiluyu says.
“This also happens during night hours, therefore, I rarely sleep much every night,” he adds.
Right now, Kiluyu needs about Shs10m to rectify the problem at Mengo Hospital. Baluziye says after the operation, his next step will be to look for money to buy his son an artificial leg.
He also, when his son turns 20, he wants to take him to a fertility clinic so that doctors can avail him the necessary treatment that can enable him function as a man since both of his testicles were crushed during the gruesome accident.
