Did you know that the month of September is the Albinism awareness month? Albinism is an inherited genetic condition that reduces the amount of melanin pigment in the skin, hair and or eyes. Available research shows that a big percentage of people with albinism die of skin cancer every year.

In Uganda, many albinos with cancer cannot access necessary treatment, ending up dying miserably in their homes.
