If you have limited space to build bedrooms, there are different methods you can put to use to get what you want.

Every home owner or any occupant wishes to sleep in a large and spacious bedroom. However, certain factors make it hard to realise this desire. These factors include costs that come with the large spaces, small planning areas as is the case with small plots of land, family size and lifestyles, among others.

Much as you may be restricted either financially or in terms of space, it is important to remember that there are other ways to go about it. The illustrations featured show the types of bedroom layouts; which include; a small bedroom, a medium size bedroom suitable as a children’s bedroom, and a quite larger bedroom that may be built as a master bedroom.

This can be a master bedroom with a king-sized bed. Recessed walls may be decorated with arches, the wardrobe is split into two to create a workstation or dressing table or just a platform for flowers, art pieces or any other objects to spice up the bedroom in option A. While option B is a basic bedroom with built-in wardrobes.

This standard bedroom of two single beds or one double bed, with a built-in wardrobe can be utilised as a children’s bedroom. It has built-in wardrobes suitable for occupants who have different tastes.

This bedroom has space for a single bed, table and chair, closet/wardrobe space as shown in the illustrations. This kind of bedroom is suitable for one person, most especially for a domestic servant or for a guest.

Note
These bedroom ideas are of basic square/ rectangular shapes but give an idea of space utilisation on other shapes as well.
The spaces are based on a restricted budget or plot size, and therefore with availability of money or space, you get fewer restrictions on size and ideas. The two layout options shown, give possible ideas on how you can best utilise the space, by properly planning your furniture arrangement.
