WAKISO- Young professionals in Wakiso town have been equipped with different business skills to help them balance professionalism business that are crucial to uplift their communities.

Destiny Bridge Church Wakiso head, Pastor Arnold Muwonge who held a motivation talk that was attended by several people says youthful professionals have the potential to turn around their neighbourhoods from poverty to prosperity.

He told a church breakfast meeting at Wakiso Destiny Bridge School on Friday that his dream is sharing pastoral and investment experience with young professionals to help them change their lives.

He said the youth can ably manage their businesses and create jobs through starting small and enduring hard situations because profitability does not occur suddenly.

The meeting was attended by Information Technology professionals, engineers, teachers, health workers, pastors among others from Uganda, the US and UK.

“So let’s embrace Jesus in our lives and even at our work and that will help us to reduce corruption. I call upon professionals who are corrupt to reform,” Pastor Muwonge said.

The meeting was also aimed at helping young professionals to prepare learn how to network through Nations Discipleship Enterprise (NDE)and learning  how to manage finances  and finding key areas where they should invest .

“This motivation talk has helped us because we have been finding it difficult to balance God’s time and business time and that’s why many Christians have lost their jobs and others are losing their businesses because we have failed to balance work and God’s time,” Mr Frank Lule, one of the people who attended said.

The meeting precedes the upcoming Game Changer Leadership Conference that will run from August 23rd to August 26th at Wakiso Kampala Children’s Centre.
