Dereck and Beverly Joubert are award-winning filmmakers from Botswana who have been Explorers-in-Residence for over four years. Their mission is the conservation and understanding of the large predators and key African wildlife species that determine the course of all conservation in Africa.
Their project Big Cat Initiative has won several awards on the globe and their work airs on National Geographic wild.

Yes, they pleasure in filming those wild and ferocious creatures we watch on TV or pay for to see at the zoo. The Jouberts step out of their comfort zone with their cameras and film the different species of wild cats. You want to know about why they do it, read this magazine.
