MY STYLE. MC Esco, real name Rosco Kizito, is a presenter of NTV Xpozed show and Banging jams on Spark TV. He is also a certified events host and does marketing for different places. He talks to Isaac Ssejjombwe about his style.

What is your best brand?
Nike because of their authentic shoes especially sneakers and I love shoes. Nike items especially shoes are cool and easy to blend with all kinds of trousers (jeans). How many pairs do you own? About four pairs.

Where do you buy your outfits from?
I don’t have a specific place because every outlet has something exclusive and different. As long as I see something that works for me, I buy it.

When did you buy your first outfit?
When I was in high school in 2000 (Senior One), I bought a denim T-shirt and Timberland boots from downtown using my savings.

How do you tell a good outfit?
Good outfits can easily be noticeable mainly by the fabric and the label. More so if you touch it, you can tell its originality.

A fashion trend you consider outrageous.
So many that even my friends have adopted them. But, l reserve my comment.

What do you consider before stepping out of your house?
My shoes are the icing on the cake. They complete my dress code. A pair of clean and authentic shoes is perfect.

Are you a sharp dresser?
l consider myself casual because of what my job entails. It is on rare occasions that I wear suits. t-shirts and jeans are my ideal dressing.

Prefers: Skinny although not too skinny like leggings or jeggings. Baggy trousers are an old school trend.

Watches or not?

I’m not so much of a watch person but when I do, digital watches especially G-Shock.
For how long can you own a pair of jeans?
To me, jeans are outfits that don’t get worn out easily so long as they are original. The only way I can let them go is when I have put on weight.

Your three fashion tips…
I don’t have tips as such but a simple quote that keeps me going; “Keep it clean, trendy and simple”.

How much do you spend on clothes in a month?

l don’t know; my weekly club jobs take 30 per cent off my monthly earnings to cater for my shopping although l want to find away to reduce it to 15per cent or 10 per cent.
How much did you spend the last time you shopped for clothes?

It was slightly above Shs500,000.

A pair of socks from the taxi park when l was going back to school. l bought two pairs at Shs600.
