My style: Bobi Wine

What is your favourite outfit?
I don’t really have a favourite outfit. But I have a favorite item. There is this pair of Hailey Davidson boots that I have owned for over five years.

Do you have a wardrobe staple?
Definitely, shoes! I am a shoeholic. I own over 300 pairs of shoes that are all tucked away in my walk in closet. I am insane when it comes to shoes. I can travel, and come back with over 50 pairs of shoes. And I hardly wear a pair of shoes more than two times in a year.

Who is your fashion icon?
I don’t look up to people fashion wise. I dress the Bobi Wine way.
I believe fashion is about one’s attitude so we can have the same attitudes. Everyone is unique in their own way
However, for the females, my icon would be my wife, Barbie. You may not believe this, but she partly influences my fashion. She has a great fashion sense, and is always on point, regardless of what she is wearing.

How do you pick out your clothes?
The choice of clothes I make is based on my mood. Since I perform a lot, most of my outfits are bound to be state mental.

Do you do pre-planning when choosing your outfit for the day?
No I don’t. I just wake up, take a shower, and then head to my closet. By the time I walk out, I have found something to wear. But other times, it depends on the mood I am in in the morning. Sometimes I wake up and feel like wearing shorts, so that the mood, and that will determine what I wear.

What is your must have item?
Shoes! Like I mentioned earlier, I love shoes, in fact I think I am passing on the addiction to my wife..

It’s the Bobi wine style! My style is expensive. I like the finer things. I also like darker colours.
