Prof. Augustus Nuwagaba, Director Reev Consult shares his fashion tips

I don’t take fashion for granted. I do my shopping from Select Garments because they know how to blend local taste with quality. Occasionally when I travel, I purchase a cloth or two. My suits range between Shs700,000 to 1M. Today’s man has to invest in his outlook and fashion because your appearance reflects your character.

You cannot expect a professor of my calibre to dress like a shamba man. That is why, my wife plays a key role in my appearance. She has such an incredible sense of fashion that she has the final say on what I wear, for instance she advises me on how to match my tie with the trousers and shirt.

Actually I am one man you can never find in a fashion faux pas because I treasure matching what I wear. This cuts across even with causal wear like jeans, caps and shorts.

They must match with the shoes or canvas even when I am at home on a weekend. When buying my clothes, I look out for the quality of the fabric and its resilience to dry cleaning. Of course when I am in my suit, the tie does not go below the waist.
