Formula One attracts more than 400 million viewers around the world. It is shown in more than 150 countries through 115 broadcasting partners, totaling 41,945 hours of coverage.

Consequently, it remains one of the richest, most dazzling series with the most advanced car racing technology, performing on the best tracks with the best drivers.

For Isaac Lubega, he cannot wait to be part of that exciting action. This is after he won the second ticket to the City Tyres -Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on November 27, courtesy of world tyre distributors Pirelli.

“I am really looking forward to the prospect of watching live a Formula One race. I have been told many stories and I am excited at the prospect of just sitting there and enjoying VIP treatment,” stated Lubega.
He however acknowledged not having watched many races before.“I have not really been following the sport but I do enjoy watching those small cars race,” he added.

“I was not expecting to win because many companies make draws and winners are never announced. I feel lucky because not many people will be in my position. In fact I have just been received a call from a relative who was congratulating me,” said Lubega the excitement in his voice still palpable.

Lubega, who was announced winner on July 2, joined Epsilon (U) Limited’s Sowedi Eliasa Kategano, who is the first winner of the competition that started May 1 and will run till October 30. All one needs to do is buy four Pirelli tyres, from any City Tyres outlet, enter the draw and stand a chance to make the all-expense paid trip to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for three nights and four days. City Tyres’ marketing manager Herbert Bashaasha says the response by the people to the draw has been very good thus. far. “It is clear many fans want to be part of this grand trip,” said Bashaasha. “And by the way the winners will get the chance to watch and meet superstars like reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton (pic inset), who is in contention for the title this year.”
