Kampala. Australia-based Ugandan cricketer Patrick Ochan proudly showed off his new bundle of joy.
Ochan, based in Adelaide, joined by partner Nisha took to social media to share photos of son Malakai Patrick Ochan Jr with friends and family back home. Some even teased the new father about how to handle babies with Sweden-based boxer Michael Obin, young brother to Jackson Asiku, sharing a video depicting “how to calm a crying baby” on Ochan’s Facebook page.

Just days after giving birth, Nisha, known to most sports enthusiasts in Lugogo, looks ever-so-gorgeous as she wears her hair out in the snap with baby. Malakai means Angel and Messenger of God. Here at SCORE, we are so happy for the two of you. Did we say that the baby looks so adorable? Yes, he does and may he grow into a sportsman like the dad. As you continue with the hustle in Adelaide making ends meet for your new young family and relatives back home, we believe the birth of Malakai will give you the necessary energy to carry on with your daily routine. We also hope that this will be the inspiration that helps you score a sackful of runs and snare lots of wickets for both Uganda and club West Torrens in the future engagements this season.
