A win for Tornado Bee will take them to a maximum 16 points at the summit, peeling away from unbeaten Wanderers (10 points), who are not in action

KAMPALA. Just like last year, Tornado Bee have enjoyed a fine start in the National Women’s 50-Over League.
The 2015 runner-ups have won two in a row after victories over Jinja SS and holders Pioneer last weekend.
The attempt to match the opening seven-match winning streak last year is on course. They will seek to add another triumph when they face Charity Trust Fund at the lakeside Oval in Entebbe today. “After beating Pioneer, we have enough confidence to stride further,” skipper Naome Kayondo told SCORE after her winning 72-ball 71 last Saturday.
“There are better days ahead and we don’t want to falter any soon,” the former national team skipper said.

For 2012 champions Charity, it is case of seeking an uplift having lost their season opener to Jinja SS by 99 runs at Lugogo last weekend. “Day One of the season is always difficult,” Charity captain Joselyn Nakato said. “But after reviewing our performance, we shall put up a better fight.”
Their best player last weekend was Martha Akello with 26 runs. Nakato, Esther Ngabire and Patricia Malemekia ought to back her up. A win for Tornado Bee will take them to a maximum 16 points at the summit, peeling away from unbeaten Wanderers (10 points), who are not in action.
