KAMPALA. Last Sunday, the Federation of Motorsport Uganda (FMU) organised a workshop for journalists that cover Motorsport at Festino Cite in Mukono.
Unknown to them, the workshop included a practical co-driving session that required the sports journalists to enter the cockpit.
Like every test, some pass with flying colours and others less so. Johnson Were and Ismael Kiyonga could perhaps be mentioned in the latter category. Were who navigated for Patrick Ssebambulidde had their car crush into a barricade just after the finish line while Kiyonga and Ismail Ortega saw their Toyota Run X overturn after the first run.
