Enemy fire

A great rivalry is on the cards to warm this Saturday. Arsenal have won just two of their last six games in the top flight (W2 D2 L2) and they had a rough week before the international break.
The Gunners not only blew a three goal lead in the Champions League against Anderlecht to hang on for a draw but also saw their lead go up in the smoke at Swansea to end up losing 2-1 in their last Premier League match. That’s just four Premier League wins for Arsene Wenger’s men. While Danny Welbeck is the England man of the moment, the goal scoring load for Arsenal seems to be fully on the shoulders of Alexis Sanchez. The Chilean has scored six in his last four league matches.
The Gunners have yet to taste defeat at home, but have drawn three of their five there with just one clean sheet. Arsenal are without a win in their last six against the Red Devils, drawing two.
The last two home matches against United have been those drawn matches, last season’s corresponding fixture ending in a 0-0 stalemate. Manchester United have won just four league matches as well and only one in their last four. The clear imbalance in their side, great attack and poor defence has seen them slip and slide their way through Louis van Gaal’s reign.
