KAMPALA. Business along Jinja Road was paralysed last Saturday as Makerere University Business School (Mubs) students walked from Namboole back to their campus.
Mubs had just obliterated Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) Nkozi 4-0 to defend their Nile Special University Football League (UFL) title.
Nkozi had been so impressive in the run-up to the final. They looked unstoppable, beating up on everyone including Makerere, enroute.

A tight final, it looked, on the cards. Mubs, though, turned up in ruthless mode, romping to a 3-0 first half lead with Davis Kasujja opening the scoring on four minutes.
Musa Esenu and Moses Kifumba got the second and third goals to all but seal the victory for Mubs inside 45 minutes.
Derrick Wasswa scored the fourth in the second half as Nkozi players and their fans looked on in shock.
