Since coming into the limelight during their fairytale run to the 2015 Uganda Cup final, Onduparaka has been hailed for reawakening fans’ love for the game.
The Arua-based club often fills their Greenlight Stadium where the club has never lost a competitive fixture.
They are thus expected to create another electric atmosphere this afternoon when the club unveils a new sponsorship package from MTN just before their league game against Soana.
According to a reliable source at the club, the telecommunication company will join Betway as the club’s shirt sponsors for a yet to be revealed amount. Onduparaka are currently fifth having won twice and drawn one of their opening four fixtures.
They will be up against a Soana team that is currently second from bottom with four points from as many games but picked a creditable at the ground last season.

Centre of attention
At Namboole, Police coach Abdallah Mubiru will be the centre of attention as his former employers and current long leaders Vipers visit.
A lively encounter is anticipated with Vipers, who are under the tutelage of Portuguese Jorge Da Costa, also prefer a short passing style of football.
With six goals scored thus far, Police, who are the highest scorers, will look to their attacking midfield comprising of Albert Mugisa, Rahmat Ssenfuka, Juma Balinya and Gift Ali to unlock Vipers.

Unleasing Mbayi
The latter also trained at Vipers before making the move from Proline before the start of the season. Vipers remain the only team yet to concede a goal going into Matchday Five and welcome striker Mousa Mbayi from injury.
“I am looking forward to making my competitive debut for this team (Vipers) and truth be told, I just cannot wait,” Mbayi said after Thursday’s training.
He will likely partner Milton Karisa, who scored in the wins over Bul and Masavu.
