KAMPALA. Since taking over his new office as Uganda’s Prime Minister, Dr Ruhakana Rugunda has officiated at number of sports ceremonies and forthwith left his mark. The Busoga College Mwiri alumnus started his reign by officiating at the 2014 Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) Awards at Lugogo on November 20 before travelling to Kabale to officiate at the White Horse Inn Golf Open on December 28. While in Kabale, he promised to dust his golf set and get swinging once again. And the man from Kabale was at it once again at the launch of the Kampala Sports Expo held at Old Kampala Secondary School recently. Flanked by Kampala Central MP Muhammad Nsereko, Rugunda showed that he knows how to have more than a ball when he juggled the soccer ball skillfully to the amusement of those in attendance. The expo starts on February 14 and will have parishes in his constituency competing in 15 sports disciplines.
