Youth, orphans exhibit immense talent at gala

KAMPALA.
You needed to be at Rez Life Church Grounds in Lubowa on Easter Monday to appreciate that Uganda has abundant untapped skill.
Youth - in droves - thronged the ‘Shorts and Shades Gala’ orgarnised by Pastor David Kyambadde to socialize and reflect on the values of living a positive and Godly life.
Orphans under the guidance of Rez Life Church management also got the chance to showcase that being deprived is not inability.

They competed in various sports disciplines that included football, basketball, blindfold shooting, pool and racing that attracted a sizeable supporting base. Hosts Rez l=Life Church beat Yesu Akwagala, Yesu Amala, Sign of the Dove, Zana Presbyterian Church and Zana Moslem Community to the overall trophy and money prize.

“Talent scouts should monitor these players because they a lot to offer to their country. We will continue to organize such events for the youth to realize and expose their potential,” a satisfied Kyambadde revealed.
