Court stops Kyambogo University interviews for deputy academic registrar

KAMPALA. The High Court in Kampala has stopped Kyambogo University from conducting interviews for position of Deputy Academic Registrar after one of the job applicants petitioned court challenging the selection process.
The order arose from a petition by applicant Ms Esther Mary Sekasi who complained to court that the university management had left her out of the job interviews yet she had expressed interest since she had served in acting capacity for 30 months.
The interviews had commenced at 11am today (Thursday), hours before the court issued the orders stopping the entire process.
