A total of 286 students obtained a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of above the 4.40 to graduate with first class honors at the 66th graduation ceremony of Makerere University.
Among them, 118 are female making up for a percentage of 41% while 168 are male making up for 51 per cent.
Among the courses that had more students obtaining first class include; Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a total number of 15 students.
Others include; Bachelor of Leisure and Hospitality Management- 7, Bachelor of International Business- 12, Bachelor of Human Resource Management- 21, Bachelor of Science Finance- 12, Bachelor of Commerce- 10, Bachelor of Business administration-14 and Bachelor of procurement and supply chain management-8 all from Makerere University Business school.
Over 14,000 students will be graduating this week at the Institute.
