Kayihura transfers police officers

The Inspector General of Police, Maj. Gen. Kale Kayihura, has transferred 35 police officers. Many of the officers were appointed police chiefs in the newly-created districts.
In a radio message sent yesterday, Maj. Gen. Kayihura said the transfer takes immediate effect.Some of the districts which got new DPCs are Sembabule, which has been the epicentre of violence during the ongoing NRM primaries, Mbarara and Iganga.
