The Leader of Rubaga Miracle Centre Cathedral, Pastor Robert Kayanja, yesterday testified against his fellow pastors and two believers, who allegedly conspired to tarnish his 30-year-old ministry by implicating him in sodomy activities.

Pr. Kayanja, accompanied by his wife and believers, told Buganda Road Magistrate’s Court presided over by Mr Patrick Wekesa, that the pastors implicated him in an act which has made many believers abandon his church.

“I don’t sell bananas or cows. I deal with human beings; a man’s name is all that he has. If someone deliberately desires to destroy it, then he has destroyed everything it stands for,” Pr. Kayanja told the fully-packed courtroom.

Pastors Moses Solomon Male of Arising for Christ, Martin Sempa, Michael David Kyazze, and Bob Robert Kayiira of Omega Healing Ministries are facing charges of conspiracy to tarnish Pr. Kayanja’s name by alleging that he sodomised his believers.

The accused, who are jointly charged with Dorothy Kyomuhendo and artiste David Mukalazi, denied the charges. Trial Magistrate, Wekesa extended the matter to November 14 for further cross-examination of the witness.
