American evangelists injured in road accident in Uganda

Mbarara

Two American evangelists were on Sunday seriously injured in a road accident at Kabagyenda, 2km from Ntungamo town along Mbarara - Kabale road.

Records at Mbarara university referral hospital where they were first admitted only identifed them as Mr Eovie 74, and Ms Faye 59.

The duo from the Abundant Life International ministries were returning from kabale District, Western Uganda, when the front tyre of the car burst causing the to overturn.

They were returning from a crusade in Kabale.

The two were later evacuated by an emergency helicopter from Mbarara referral hospital to International Hospital in Kampala for further treatment.
The Regional Police Commander south western region Mr Raymond Otim attributed the accident to over speeding.
