Tullow oil Uganda wins CSR Award

Tullow Uganda has won a corporate social responsibility award for its community investment in the East African region. The company was named overall winner in the Award category of Most Sustainable and Scalable Community Investment in the region.

The awards organised by African Practice in Partnership with East African Business Council, sought to reward companies from East Africa for their corporate social responsibility.

Out of several entries collected from companies across the region, Unilever Tea Tanzania, Unilever Tea Kenya, Sandali Woods of Tanzania, and Eastern Produce of Kenya were rewarded, in respective categories, for outstanding and innovative initiatives.
