Two arrested over woman’s death in Entebbe

ENTEBBE- Police are holding two people in connection with the death of a one Sarah Nampala, a resident of Nakiwogo Zone, Entebbe, Wakiso District

The head of Criminal Investigations at Entebbe Police Station, Mr Zachariah Mbabazi confirmed the detention of Mr Robert Bugimbi, the husband of the deceased.

Ms Harriet Nankya, the co-wife of the deceased is also behind bars as investigations continue.

Some neighbours said Nampala died while being taken to Entebbe Grade B Hospital. She reportedly sustained severe injuries after a Tuesday brawl with Ms Nankya on Tuesday.

The two women, according to neighbours, have been fighting almost on a daily basis ever since Mr Bugimbi rented a house for Nankya near the home where he stayed with Nampala, his first wife.

The deceased is survived by three children aged 12, 9 and one month.

He body was taken Mulago Hospital for post-mortem.
