Six dead, several injured in another Masaka road accident

Six people have been confirmed dead and several others seriously injured following a nasty accident on Kampala-Masaka highway.
The Monday afternoon accident involving a taxi registration number UAF 233N, Fuso truck registration number UBA 299T and a boda boda registration number UDI 191 happened just before London College in Wakiso District.

Police attributed the cause of the accident to reckless driving.
Mr Phillip Mukasa, the Police PRO in Katonga region said the taxi was travelling from Mpigi District while the Fuso truck was heading to Masaka from Kampala.
So far, only the taxi driver has been identified as Meddie Kajubi
"We are still trying to identify the other victims as most of them did not have identity cards," Mr Mukasa said.
