14-year-old boy arrested for killing colleague over chapatti

Police in Luuka District are holding a 14-year-old boy for allegedly killing his colleague over the location of their businesses.

The suspect whose name has been withheld because he is a minor is said to have stabbed his 17-year-old colleague in the chest following a disagreement over the location they were using to fry chapatti in Kiyunga Town Council in Luuka District.
Until the incident, the victim and the deceased were operating separate snack stalls in the same area. One of them is said to have asked the other to relocate his stall.

Eye witnesses told police that when he refused a scuffle ensued and the suspect picked a knife which he used to stab his colleague in the chest. He bled to death.
