40 senior CID officers moved

Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Balimwoyo, in his reshuffle message, appointed four Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) as regional CID commanders.

Police’s human resource management director, Moses Balimwoyo, has appointed 43 senior detectives as regional, district and station Criminal Investigations Department (CID) commanders.

Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIGP) Balimwoyo, in his reshuffle message, appointed four Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) as regional CID commanders. These include SSP Fred Nkirirehi who has been moved to Crime Intelligence (CI), SSP Dauda Swaliki moved from Mt Moroto to Kiira region, ASP Nichodemus Ekiat moved from East Kyoga region to Moroto and ASP Etom Sam Enapat from Katakwi to Kidepo region.

Mr Balimwoyo also appointed 14 detectives at the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASPs) as district CID commanders such as ASP Jimmy Namonyo from CID headquarters to Nakaseke, ASP Benjamin Mudope from Lwera to Butaleja, ASP Esther Nakato moved from Wandegeya to Llira, ASP James Musinguzi from Bushenyi to Kyegegwa, ASP Benon Kivengeri from Ibanda to Bushenyi district, ASP Sarah Atuhaire from Jinja to Kira, ASP Godfrey Magomu moved from Kira division to Katakwi, ASP Robertson Elungat from Katakwi to Amudat, ASP Samson Higenyi from Isingiro to Naggalama.
