Work at Entebbe Airport came to a standstill on Thursday morning as Uganda’s top models, relatives, friends and traditional dancers, thronged the airport to welcome Stacie Aamito Lagum, the winner of Africa’s Next Top Model competition.

Traditional dancers, relatives, friends, and fellow models swarmed the terminal building, paralyzing work as peoples scrambled to take photos of the retuning model.

“I am so excited, this is overwhelming I cannot believe it,” the excited Aamito said. She said she wants to put up a platform where all Ugandan models can be known and heard. Aamito won Africa’s Next Top Model competition after nine weeks of fierce competition of the first season of the show.
