Arua bound bus catches fire

A bus belonging to Gaaga bus services has caught fire.
The bus, registration number, UAP 759 H was bound for Arua from Kampala. However the journey was ended suddenly on reaching Matuga police check point when a tyre puncture was shortly followed by fire at the bottom of the bus.
Attempts to stop the fire were futile, as the fire extinguishers donated by a shop attendant in the area ran out. By the time the fire brigade arrived, the bus had been burnt.
There was no one was injured since all the passengers had already disembarked.
