Police in Luweero District are investigating circumstances under which a 9-month old baby died in a police cell at Bugema Police post where its mother, Ms Sarah Nantume had been detained over alleged trespass charges.
Savannah Regional police spokesperson Mr Paul Kangave told the Daily Monitor on April 24 that they want to ascertain the circumstances under which the baby died on Monday morning.
