Body of Juliana’s son flown in, burial set for Friday
KAMPALA
The body of singer Juliana Kanyomozi’s son, Raphael Keron Kabugo was on Tuesday evening flown in for burial. The plane (Kenya Airways) carrying the casket bearing Keron’s body touched ground at Entebbe International airport on Tuesday at around 8:00pm in the company of Juliana’s friends and relatives.
Keron, 11, died on Sunday morning at the Agha Khan Hospital in Nairobi where he was battling with Asthma. According to a close family member, Keron’s funeral service is scheduled for Friday morning at 9:00am at All Saints Cathedral. Burial will be on the same day at Mattuga, Kiryagonja at 4:00pm. There will be a two days (Wednesday and Thursday) vigil and mourning at the residence of Mr Misusera Kabugo,( Keron’s grandfather) in Bunga Kawuku next to Kawuku Church of Uganda.
Keron had reportedly suffered an attack two weeks before his death while at school. He was rushed to Nakasero Hospital where the doctors recommended that he be transferred to Nairobi.
“He had been improving steadily. However, last Saturday his condition worsened; and he died on Sunday Morning,” narrated Annette Kim, the songstress personal assistant.
