Body of missing Rubanda student found in Lake Bunyonyi

The missing student of St. Andrews Secondary School in Rubanda District has been found dead.

The body of the 16 - year-old Denis Owaruhanga was found floating in Lake Bunyonyi following his disappearance on March 17th 2017.
Owaruhanga is a son to John Bwankosa, a resident of Kyigyeyo village in Ikumba Sub County in Rubanda District.
According to Bwankosa, his son left for school last Friday but didn't return.

He says they mounted a search for him in vain until last evening when his body was seen by residents floating in Lake Bunyonyi.
Tai Ramadhan, the Rubanda District Police Commander, said they have commenced investigations to establish how the student died.
