KAMPALA
Democratic Party (DP) President Norbert Mao has been discharged from Nairobi Hospital where he was admitted last month after being diagnosed with pneumonia.
DP Secretary General Mr Mathias Nsubuga told Daily Monitor that Mr Mao was discharged from hospital on Tuesday although still in Kenya.

“Mr Mao has been discharged from hospital but he is still under strict medical rules. He will remain in Nairobi for a week for just medical checkup,” Mr Nsubuga said.

“According to the doctors, Mr Mao needs more time to rest and complete his treatment before he is brought back in Uganda to resume with his political activities and party work,” Mr Nsubuga added.
