Detectives take Desh back to crime scene

City businessman Desh Kananura was yesterday taken by police detectives back to Panamera Bar where his employee was allegedly killed last year.

Deputy police spokesman Vicent Ssekate said Mr Kananura was taken to his bar to help detectives reconstruct the scene of crime.

“There are issues he tackled in his statement which have prompted us to take him to the scene to verify. We wanted him to show us physically his sequence of events,” Mr Ssekate said.
Mr Kananura was arrested on Thursday night at Entebbe Airport after arriving from the United Kingdom.

He was driven back to the Special Investigations Unit at Kireka, Kampala where he will spend a second night.
