Doris Akol appointed Kagina's replacement at URA

Finance Minister, Maria Kiwanuka has appointed Dorris Akol as Commissioner General of URA.
Ms Akol's appointment comes after a two years' search for Ms Kagina's replacement.
Only two people were interviewed for the position of Commissioner General, URA and she emerged top candidate fit to replace Kagina whose contract is running out this month.
Until her appointment, she has been serving as the commissioner for legal and board affairs.
Ms Akol is also a proud winner of the 2008 ralph Bell Prize which is awarded to the best Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) finalist who has completed their chosen syllabus and sits more than one paper in that intake.
