Entebbe MP loses daughter in motor accident

Entebbe Municipality MP Tumusime Rosemary's daughter, Doreen Tashobya and a one Patrick Businge killed in a motor accident.
According to police’s deputy spokesperson Polly Namaye, the two were riding on a bike to Tashobya's work place this morning when they got involved in a fatal accident.
The motorcycle they were riding, Reg no. UDS 502N Bajaj boxer collided with a Isuzu Truck Reg UAP 872J that was carrying sand. The accident occurred at Muziga Park on Entebbe road.
Businge who was riding the bike is an employee of the MP.
Namaye further said police are hunting for the driver of the Isuzu truck who is on the run. However, the truck and the motorcycle have been towed to Entebbe Police Station for inspection. Cause of the accident is suspected to have been reckless driving on the part of the truck driver. An Inquiry file has been opened up to investigate circumstances that led to this accident.
“Drivers and riders are cautioned to exercise caution while on the road so as to avoid such accidents,” said Ms Namaye
