An American pastor, Dr David Dykes, has told the government not to succumb to external pressure to shelve the gay Bill even if it attracted aid cuts.

“No amount of intimidation should force Ugandans to support gays, even if it means cutting aid. Some of us are facing harassment but we have not relented,” Dr Dykes of Green Acres Church, Tyre, Texas said.
