Several houses burnt in Makerere
Fire on Thursday gutted several house in Kagugube zone, Makerere.
Police said the fire is suspected to have resulted from a cooking stove.
“No causalities found but property and businesses perished in the fire,” said Asp Nicholas Muyonjo.
Mr Muyonjo said the fire started at about 10 am adding that police fire brigade had challenges accessing the scene.
