National Water and Sewerage Corporation(NWSC) has told interns to utilise the opportunity and show their competence for the jobs following reports that the graduate management trainees have dragged the corporation to the Parliament’s Equal opportunities Committee accusing it of denying them jobs.

While addressing the graduate management trainees last week, Dr. Silver Mugisha, the NWSC managing director, urged the trainees to utilise their internship to create solutions which would compel NWSC to hire them rather than propagate harmful propaganda which will stain the image of the corporation.

“Our target is to get 40,000 new connections every month. If you got us these connections, you helped us reduce illegal connections, who would not give you a job?” Dr Mugisha asked. He advised them to concentrate more on work than leisure.
