A journalist working with Heart Fm in Mubende Town was summoned before Mubende police on Friday to make a statement on allegations that he hosted Lwemiyaga County MP Theodore Ssekikubo on one of his talk shows.

During the show, the MP is said to have attacked the President and the government over the death of Butaleja Woman MP Cerinah Nebanda.

Mr Samuel Balaba Magala was quizzed for about two hours by the head of political crimes at Mubende Police station, Mr Geoffrey Juma on orders from the Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department headquarters in Kibuli.

The talk shjow host was asked whether Mr Ssekikubo made any inciting statements during his programme “Omusana”, which he hosted in December last year.

Mr Magala, however, told police that the legislator had never appeared on any of his programmes since the death of Nebanda on December 14.
